Patrícia Feitosa Souza

She holds a degree in Geography from the Federal University of Pará (2003), a master's degree in Organization and Territorial Management by the Postgraduate Program in Geography (PPGG) of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a doctorate in Public Health from the National School of Public Health Sergio Arouca, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation and held a research internship (sandwich doctorate abroad) at the Laboratoire Espace Santé et Territoires by Université Paris X (2013). She has worked as a specialist in the Institute of Communication and Scientific and Technological Information in Health at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2008 to 2010), where she currently collaborates and works in research in the area of Health Geography. Since 2009 she has been an adjunct professor at the Fluminense Federal Institute. He works in research and teaching in the area of Geography and Health with emphasis on health surveillance, socio-spatial inequalities and environmental changes, using geoprocessing techniques and spatial analysis.
